A Christmas tree blaze in a Brooklyn gypsy tea room killed six people including a 12 year old twin, a 15 year old, and a 16 year old daughter in law. In a yearend review Beijing forecast a grim year for the United States and its allies in 1967 tied to the Vietnam conflict.
