Fire roared through the Pix Theater in Seagraves early Christmas morning demolishing the building and its contents. Manager E W Turnbow estimated damage at 40000. Firemen from Seagraves Seminole and Denver City fought the blaze from 2 45 a m to about 7 a m. A hotel across the street filled with smoke but suffered no damage. The loss included two Cinemascope lenses valued at about 1500 each.
