Maid Finds $10,000 Hidden at Ramada Gondolier Hotel

Esther Marie Bellard a 19 year old hotel maid with a 52.50 weekly salary collected ten thousand dollars found under a mattress Oct 27 in room 10. District Judge Jim Meyers awarded the cash to Bellard five days before Christmas after a company disclaimer. Bellard testified the money was found in a cellophane bag and turned over to police. Her husband Ernest an airman at Bergstrom AFB escorted her from the courthouse.

Assassination of Spain's Premier Shocks Madrid Officials
