Spur Mishap Claims Pedestrian Kearney

Charlie S. Kearney a 73 year old Spur resident was struck and killed by a pickup on U S Highway 70 near his home. He died en route to Spur Memorial Hospital. Delton Roberts of Spur drove the truck. Kearney a WWI veteran and former service station operator belonged to First Baptist Church VFW Spur Masonic Lodge 1023 and leaves a wife two sons seven sisters and several relatives.
