Mishap at Seminole gin claims worker life

A 29 year old Seminole gin laborer Silvestre Wencerlado Alverez died minutes after arm was caught in gin machinery at the Modern Gin eleven miles west of Seminole. He died about ten minutes after arrival at Seminole Memorial Hospital. Survivors include his wife Elida and his parents in Rio Grande City. The body will be taken to Rio Grande City for burial under Singleton Funeral Home arrangements.
