Floyd County Pilot Injured In Helicopter Crash
The pilot, 26 year old Mike Hutcherson of Plainview, was listed in fair condition at Plainview Hospital after a helicopter crash near Aiken Floyd County. Passenger Bob Taylor, 49, of Lubbock, was unharmed. The crash occurred about 3:30 p.m. near a private residence, with the house occupant Mrs. Tom Duvall reporting the craft fell and twirled to the ground. Wind conditions were mild and damage to the helicopter was heavy.
