Two Robberies, Two Arrests In Lubbock Shootout
In a 90 minute span on Saturday two armed robberies occurred in Lubbock. A customer aided police as suspects fled in a car, one man shot during a high speed chase and another wounded in a getaway attempt. Loot totaled about 1 600 from United Supermarket and 460 from Payless Shoe Store. Initial reports say 1 537 found in the car. Police identified suspects as David Chapman and Ervin Brewer.
