Skylab Ferry Vibrations Baffle Astronauts
Skylab 3 crew reported mysterious clunking and vibration aboard the Apollo ferry as they rotated the lab for earth photography. Ground controllers investigated but could not identify the source while mission goals included photo surveys of coal mines and wildlife wetlands along the Atlantic coast and clouds over Brazil.
