Marines Engage North Vietnamese Near Con Thien Front
U S Marines fought heavy combat with North Vietnamese forces near the Con Thien outpost along the DMZ. After about four hours the Marines reported driving the enemy from fortified bunkers with 15 Marines killed and 53 wounded while North Vietnamese losses were 26 killed.
