Kennedy to Tour Texas In Nine Stop Visit

The Associated Press reports Sen John F Kennedy will undertake a nine stop Texas tour on September 12 and 13 traveling by Convair airliner with about 100 national press members. Stops include El Paso mid morning television, and a night in Austin. Schedule released by Mann lists contact with Kennedy across multiple cities as part of the presidential campaign. A separate police report mentions a gunfight and a West Side holdup gang as unrelated local crime.

Two Killed in Hale County Wreck Near Farm Road 400

Two cars collided on a dark rural intersection six miles west of Here killing a 53-year-old Latin American man and a 69-year-old Black man. Four others were seriously injured, including two Latin Americans and two Black individuals from the other vehicle. Hospital reports list multiple severe injuries and surgeries underway.

Castro links plot to attack Cuban plane against Roa

Explosion injures two at chemical plant in Buffalo

A plant blast at the National Analine Division of the Aled Chemical Corp in Buffalo injures two men. The blast shattered windows across the area and wrecked a building described by fire officials as blown in half before the fire was quenched.

Flood Stalls Commuters In Queens Subways
