Abernathy Youth Dies After One Car Crash
Abernathy reports the death of 17 year old Thomas Wayne Megna in a one car rollover on FM 597 two and a half miles west of town. Megna, a senior at Abernathy High School and Antelope football team member, died at the scene. Funeral services set for Tuesday at St Isadore Catholic Church with burial in Abernathy Cemetery. Survivors include his mother Mary Megna, brother Johnny and sister Laura.
