Suspect Held in $65,000 Dallas Bank Robbery
Ex convict Frank Karl Fleck, 59, arrested as a suspect in the June 2 National Bank of Commerce heist in Dallas. Police say he was found in a car on a Farmers Branch street with $1,000 on him and awaits charges. The downtown bank was robbed by a masked bandit with a sawed off shotgun, taking under two minutes before fleeing in a stolen car. Fleck had denied the robbery and had spent time in nine prisons.

Small Boy and Mother Die in Spur Intersection Crash
A Spur woman Rosa Martinez Perez and her son Paul Perez Jr died in a freak car pickup crash three miles west of Spur at a dirt road intersection. Richard Rowden and Miguel Perez were treated for injuries.
