Guilty Pleas In DWI and Other Counts In County Courts
Four people pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated before Judge Edwin H. Boedeker in County Court at Law No. 7. Eligio Herrera Mesa, Sammie Bevers, Frank Ortiz Rogers, and Christoval Rangel Martinez faced fines from 50 to 125 dollars and short jail terms with some sentences probation or post release conditions. Additional pleas included shoplifting and liquor law violations, with various fines and short jail terms. In County Court at Law No. 2, Marvin Crumbie was placed on six months probation for DWI, Elishus Sanders fined for liquor law violation, and Troy Bullock fined for theft under 5 dollars. Several defendants pleaded innocent and were held on bonds for carryings weapons, bad checks, or shoplifting.
