Near Lazbuddie farmer dies after son is killed

A Lazaruddie area farmer dies in a crash at the family farm shortly after his son was killed in an accident. Edward Cope died at the scene while the son died en route to hospital. The funeral will be at the Lazbuddie Methodist Church with Rev. Don Davidson. interment at Green Hill. He leaves two sons Malcolm and Eddie, three daughters and several brothers and grandchildren. The family had recently moved from Albuquerque to Lazbuddie and then to New Mexico.

Police Have Suspect In Fort Worth Lawyer Killing

Fort Worth police chief J D McGuire says a key suspect exists in the slaying of lawyer Robert Maclin, who was shot in a Haltom City parking lot last May. He offered limited details and noted few leads since the murder. Maclin had warned he was marked for death.

Objection Raised To City's Protector Light Business

Avahlinche Journal reports Kenneth May notes Charles Nelson appeals to the city Utilities Board for protection as he seeks to supply protector lights. Nelson claims he invested about 65 000 with 40 000 more in inventory since 1963 and charges 4 per month per light. Storm Hits San Antonio and Kyote in Severe Thunderstorm
