Youth Held for Firing on LIRR Trains in Queens

John Whitmore a vocational high school student in Long Island City Queens was charged with the slaying of Vincent Maher 34 and wounding Gabriel Farmsen 49 after gunfire on three Long Island Rail Road trains in Queens Maher died from a neck wound and Farmsen was listed in serious condition. police say Whitmore admitted firing at three trains.
