Lea County Fair and Rodeo slated Aug 25 28
Lea County announces the annual fair and rodeo to run August 25 through 28 in Lovington. Events include an RCA approved rodeo nightly at 7 30 p.m. at Jake McClure Memorial Arena a parade a queen contest barbecue and many exhibits and booths at Lea County Fairgrounds. Entry for the queen’s contest open to Lea County residents ages 16 to 21 with a August 24 deadline.
