Ramsey Named To Rail Post In Texas

Lt Gov Ben Ramsey was named to the Texas Railroad Commission filling the vacancy left by the late Olin Culberson. Ramsey, a long-serving official since 1950, will begin immediately and must run for election in 1982 for the remainder of Culberson's term. Disturbance Storm Kills Woman near Pasadena

A deadly summer storm struck the Pasadena area on a holiday afternoon, killing Mrs Golietor of the South suburbs.
