Miller Wins Democratic Nod for 18th District Seat

Amarillo DA Mike Read reports Dee Miller won the Democratic nomination for the 18th Congressional seat. Miller secured 17 votes on the fourth ballot from 30 county chairmen, facing Bob Price in November after Walter Rogers steps down. The selection was called by Will Davis Jr. and followed Rogers resigning on July 31.

Two Youths Face Dual Indictments

Youth believed dead found alive eight days after crash

In Brittany France a 17 year old named Christian Leguen was found alive beside a highway after eight days of presumed disappearance following a car crash near a camping area. He lay injured by a bush about 20 yards from the national highway.

Lunar Orbiter to Photograph Moon Landing Areas
