New York stock prices fell amid slow trading as the Dow Jones average slipped about 11 points. The NYSE index dropped to around 41.90 with more declines than advances and big blocks traded, while analysts cited delays in a Middle East ceasefire agreement and lingering resistance near 740 as reasons for the downturn.
