Accident Kills Swisher Girl

Tulia Special reports 16 year old Kathy Fowler of Route 2 Tulsa died after her car collided with a loaded gasoline tanker truck at a rural intersection about 10 miles northeast of here. The crash at 5 p.m. involved truck driver Ebb N Drewry of Love Brothers Oil Co in Tulia. Fowler died about 7:30 p.m. in an Amarillo hospital. Funeral arrangements had not been made. Highway patrolman Don Black identified the directions of travel.
