Tornado near Lubbock and mobile home razed near Reese AFB

At 3 30 to 4 00 am Sunday a tornado or roar near Lubbock hit Plainview and an area within eight to ten miles of a dock. Reese AFB weather watchers reported about 70 mph winds at the base as a devastated mobile home owner J Curtis Ray Bevers recalled the 1970 nude sound.
