Plane Crash Near Lubbock Airport Kills Three
A single engine plane crashed near Lubbock Municipal Airport Saturday afternoon after an abrupt low bank during an approach. Victims, not yet identified, appear to be Dr George William Smith his wife Sarah and Mrs Milton Eva Smith from Dunkin Ind. Rescue attempts were hindered by fuel fires as the craft burned in sight of the No 1 runway.
