Florida student mob blocks traffic in beach riot

Several thousand vacationing students shouted riot and surged off the beach near Fort Lauderdale, chanting and blocking U S 11 for about 90 minutes. Rites will be conducted in three Episcopal churches in Lubbock from noon to 3 p.m. today with all churches in the city observing Good Friday. John Stainer’s The Crucifixion will be sung at 7:30 p.m. at First Methodist Church. Choirs at John Knox Presbyterian Church perform at 7:30 p.m. focusing on the crucifixion and last words of Jesus. Ascension Lutheran hosts The Service of Shadows relating to the passion with increasing darkness. Eviction Ends San Antonio Holdout For HemisFair Site

Last holdouts in San Antonio were evicted as a sheriff entered the home to clear a 140 acre urban renewal parcel slated for HemisFair 1968. Lunar Rocket Setback After Partial Centaur Failure
