Beet Allotments In Area Sought In Texas Sugar Beet Plans
Texas sugar beet committee chaired by W. Fortenberry meets Monday at 9 am at the county Agricultural Adjustment office to discuss allocating about 195 acres for the 1941 crop. Other members include S. M. Twilley and Francis Cathel. applications are already received from several counties with Lamb Floyd and Jackbeck showing intent to produce beets again.
