John E. Lussell and James B. Carroll speak tomorrow night at Huntington Hall on campaign issues from a Democratic view. They will answer Republican charges and refute claims of want of confidence, arguing Republicans caused the financial stringency and business slowdown.

Rev Dr Solomon Schindler, leader of Temple Adath Israel for nearly two decades, will resign next year. Known as a liberal thinker and humanitarian, he has authored many works and is highly esteemed in Boston. In 1888 he won unanimous election to the school board for three years.
Lonpoy October 26 E F Moore editor of The Mark Lane Express and Bell s Messenger was summoned at Bow Street police court on embezzlement charges. He did not appear and it was stated he had shot himself. He is alive. The hearing was adjourned.
Concord on October 25 reports the state board of agriculture reaffirmed its stance on the Durham college. It pledged to use all honorable means to secure a college that is truly agricultural in name and substance for New Hampshire farmers.

In Boston on October 95 the historic Cotton tomb at King's Chapel burial ground was opened for the first time in 14 years. The body of Miss Lucy Cotton, a descendant of the famed cleric, was laid to rest inside as curious bystanders watched workmen at the site.
Waltham Massachusetts October 25. The Davis and Farnham Foundry company discharged 20 employees due to dull times. They had been employing 800 workers to date. The Waltham Screw company with 15 workers has closed for an indefinite period.
The newly elected lord mayor of London, George Robert Tyler, was ceremoniously presented to the lord chancellor in the house of lords. The event featured the customary courtesies as part of the formal exchange.
Louisv ille authorities report the sudden death of James A. Damare at his home. He founded the Knights of Honor and was a member of the Masons Odd Fellows and Ancient Order of United Workmen.
