Brooklyn dated March 31 reports a board of auditors meeting in Gravesend to audit John Y. McKane accounts. The accounts were submitted by George McKane, McKane’s son, and the report is understood to be rejected.
Thousands of Albanians attacked a Montenegrin village on the frontier, killing four Montenegrins and wounding seven. Albanian casualties are unknown. The fighting risks spreading disturbances across the region.
Burglars visited North Attleboro but did not obtain any booty. W H Riley and Co office was broken into and an attempt to blow open the safe made. Tools used in drilling were left behind as the burglars fled in fright. Commander in Chief Adams of the Grand Army attended a banquet in New Breport, Ill. last night with part of his staff as the city lit up for the event.
A Vienna dispatch reports the president of the Pro presist party in Gorashitza Servia was shot and killed by Radical party members. The incident occurred March 20 and is tied to political violence in the region.
Frederick McDonald a 38 year old sailor from Glasburn N I was struck by a train at Milford and died two hours later from his injuries.
In Williamsport Pennsylvania on March 31 a fire destroyed Tuppert's furniture factory and six nearby homes. The estimated loss runs around 78000 dollars with several families displaced. Firefighters battled the blaze through the night and no casualties were reported.

George G. Smith, 28, chief of a western train robbers gang and Wy oming fugitive, was arrested in Springfield at his grandmother's home after three weeks in the city. He and three companions were pinned for a February 1891 Union Pacific car burglary at Green River, two barrels of whisky were taken and later sold. Smith says the jailor's wife helped the gang escape. His father, once an alderman, now lives in Los Angeles.
Providence reports that Riverside mill weavers met officials last evening. Agents refused concessions pending talks with other mills about a two loom system. If plans proceed, the mill will not abandon the system and a strike may be declared.
A committee of Amoskeag mills dyehouse employees in Manchester New Hampshire seeks wage restoration to pre cut of 10 percent last fall. The mill agent says the demands cannot be conceded. Current city reports say the men may strike.
