Salvationists Scrimmage at City Hall Square
In Fall River City Hall Square a clash erupted after Salvation Army preacher Elijah Howarth urged against a form of confession. Andrew Moran, about 50, insulted the preacher, sparking a brawl with Salvationists and a constable joining in. Moran was arrested and brought before Judge McDonough.
