Brewers Attend Justice Assembly Meeting in Lowell
Fourteen brewers from the new brewery attended the Justice Assembly of the K of L last evening to hear addresses by Worthy Foreman Sullivan and Walter Workman Grierson. Ten brewers were admitted to membership and several more were expected. The group plans to form an independent organization and noted several brands of scab beer entering Lowell will be addressed.

International Textile convention opens in Manchester Hogland
Yesterday morning the International Textile convention was called to order in Manchester Hogland with delegates from America Europe and all England attending. Hon Robert Howard of Fail River represents the textile workers. The convention will run until Friday night and a complimentary dinner is planned at Belle Vue Gardens with mill tours offered. A Lowell labor man was delegated but returned from England before it opened and is expected to report to his union.
