New Britain Massachusetts Aug 15 The Spinners union of this city voted last night to launch a general strike Monday morning unless manufacturers rescind their wage reductions. About 20 000 workers would be affected as 13 mills with a weekly payroll of 876 000 face shutdowns. The union treasury is full and no union funds will be used for one month after the strike begins.
