Washington Hotel Wrecked by Dynamite Killing Guest
A guest, Frank McKee, dynamited the Golden Eagle hotel at New Jersey avenue and D street in Washington at 4 30 am, blowing out the roof and injuring the proprietor Louis Brandt and his wife. McKee then killed himself after quarrels over attentions to Mrs Brandt. The hotel and nearby structures suffered extensive damage. McKee, about 28, came from Philadelphia and had recent losses at the races.
