He sustained a fractured skull, bleeding from the head, and was taken to St Johns hospital after an ambulance was summoned. Police and Dr Smith attended. investigators presume a slip and fall against stone curbing.
Inspectors Allen and Laflamme arrested Aaron Manseau on a warrant charging breaking and entering the Wallace Thissel farmhouse in Dra cut on Sunday Sept 19. He allegedly took a diamond ring worth 85, a garnet worth 10, and a revolver worth 5. The property has been recovered.

Noadiah Lund aged 77 died last night at 76 Wilder street leaving two sisters and a brother. Charles S Harmon died at Tewksbury aged 52. Catherine O Connor died at 60 Rock street aged 62. Patrick Harrahan, longtime Lowell Machine Shop employee, died of heart failure at 32 Marshal street leaving a wife and five children and was a member of the Lowell Irish Benevolent Society.
Mary Shinnick's funeral was held yesterday with Rev Fr McManus presiding at 12 North Street. Burial followed in the Catholic cemetery with Undertaker Davey in charge.
Sheriff H G Cushing is absent from court this week due to illness though not serious. The Matinee whist club met at Mrs Addie Twowe at 30 Chelmsford street. Mrs Clifford won first prize with a points. Next meeting set for Mrs F C Austin at 62 School street on Tuesday Nov 16.
