A large audience attended a fine concert at Odd Fellows hall by St Pauls M E Church double quartette with humorist John Thom as and pianist Charles V Barker. Choir members included Mrs. Alice S Jenkins Miss Edith R Preston Mrs Nettie M Roberts Miss Gertrude Needham Lewis M Sweatt Ralph R Stratton Basses Frank B Murphy Frank E Fowler organist Barker director Murphy. A man identifying himself as Frank Nockut of Lowell was arrested by Patrolman Donovan at station 13 Boston for larceny from the person. He allegedly snatched Miss Sarah L. Chisholm’s gold watch as she stepped from an electric car at Forest Hills and dropped it into his stocking.
