Erwin McKee a 39 year old Lowell resident took poison at 121 D Street yesterday between 11 30 and 12 oclock. He had been out of work for two months and feared poverty, though he may have acted on impulse. His two younger children were at home when he died. his wife and mother in law were away. Four children aged 2 ½ to 13 survive. He previously worked as a clerk for Boston and Maine Railroad and was active in the Highland Council Royal Arcanum. Funeral arrangements will be announced.
