Boston reports Thomas Fay aged 45 a water department employee was killed this morning when a cave-in occurred at his work site. Police and investigators are on scene as rescue teams secure the area and determine the cause. Fay leaves a widow and two children.
A cave-in at the Opal mine in Queretaro Mexico on Wednesday trapped 10 miners under earth and stone. Four are reported killed and others injured as rescue efforts begin.

A June 4 debate is planned and a visit to Crystal Gem lodge Stoneham is under arrangement.

At 6 30 last night in Cambridge Mrs Vivian Evans Knowlton and Mr Paul Roscoe Bachelder wed in an Episcopal ceremony conducted by Rev C E Fisher. The event featured Lohengrin, pale green decor, ivory satin dress, and a reception with supper and music. Relatives traveled from Auburn Me Fitchburg Boston Concord Jamaica Plain and Newton to attend. The couple will reside on School Street after September.
Miss Abbie E French of 349 Beacon Street died yesterday morning after illness since September. Born in Lowell she taught at Bartlett school and in Worthen street Methodist church work. Survived by mother and sister Emma. Frank E Hallas, 22, of 14 Bourne Street died in corporation hospital on Wednesday from appendicitis. Diana R Wright of 115 Nesmith Street died May 7 in San Francisco while en route to Japan. widow of Nathan M Wright and sister of Hapgood Wright.

Lyons represents the P F Collier Publishing Company of Boston.
