A freight car derailed while backing along a spur between Middle and Market streets just after 11 this forenoon. The end car plunged toward the Savoy theatre brick addition on Shattuck street, crushing brakeman Victor St. Cyr against the brick wall. He refused hospital care, was treated by a surgeon, and then returned home. The car also damaged the theatre wall mildly.

Mrs Harriet P Langley wife of Clark M Langley died at 93 Fremont Street aged 77 She leaves a daughter and four sisters including Mrs Hiram Simons and Miss Frances H Chase In Nashua she was active in Universalist church now in city First Universalist church attended. Cornelius F Hart aged 39 died at 89 Butterfield Street A former Mathews member and early participant in St Patrick s Literary Society He worked in groceries on Broadway and later with T D Hartford in clothing He is survived by a wife and two sons Charles P and Daniel J Hart.
