The Chicago committee on resolutions met at the Palmer house as Senator White of California was elected permanent chair by the committee on permanent organization. It opposes issuing peace time government bonds and criticizes banking syndicate profits and gold monetization. Tariff policy favors revenue needs with limits and opposes McKinley era tariff restoration until money issues are resolved.
