Peter Roark, found in freezing condition near Kenwood early Sunday, is improving at St. John's hospital. He may regain use of hands and feet and is expected to recover. It is believed he drove to Lawrence with a friend Saturday night and on the return trip collided with a post or fence, throwing him from the vehicle. his companion reached Lowell by carriage and cannot provide details.

The Lowell man Frank Clark, who was found in a doorway near Washington Street and Broadway extension Boston with amputated legs, was discharged from St John’s hospital Jan 15 at his request. He had earlier undergone leg removal after a Spencer railroad accident, with care and funding arranged by Lowell officials. Clark reportedly left hospital for Boston, claimed dissatisfaction, and was later found walking the city streets. He is 45? years old and formerly of East Pine Street Lowell, with little money and a history as a wanderer.
William B Delaney a respected East Merrimack Street tailor and son of Bernard Delaney died Monday morning at his father’s home 70 Lawrence Street. Born in the city he worked as a tailor then ran his own business on East Merrimack Street. He served on the state gypsy moth commission and was a member of the Foresters. Survived by his parents three sisters and four brothers. Also noted is the death of Thomas McShea at 67 Concord Street leaving a wife a son a sister and a stepson.
Funeral services were held for Walter Lor ing Young at his father's home with Rev. Charles T. Billings officiating. Delegations from Kilwinning lodge and other groups attended. Buried in Lowell cemetery. Also, services for Miss Lucy Nesmith and William H. Staples were conducted with community and organizational attendance. Edson cemetery burial and arrangements by J. A. Weinbeck. Other notices for McShea Mullin Wheeler and O'Donnell deaths listed.

George Alary faces felonious assault on a young girl with a continued hearing and a ten dollar fine. Nathan Martin and Antoine Joseph charged with adulterated honey fined one dollar. Manefield and Thomas Mitchell face charges related to adulterated maple syrup and drunkenness with Friday continuances or four months jail respectively.
