Americans occupy Jaro and Molo suburbs. Manila remains quiet. The heat is noted as inconvenient.

Mrs Lizanna Perham Dutton widow of Lewis M Dutton died at her Westford Street Chelmsford home after months of illness aged 45 She was a Chelmsford native daughter of Samuel P and Aseneth Perham Her brother Albert P Perham and her father died recently Leaving two young sons and mourned by the Central Baptist Church where she was an active member

Also Mrs. Winnifred O’Hare age 55 of Fayette street died this morning leaving husband and three married daughters. Florence C. Miler formerly Florence Hoole of the city died at 19 Crystal avenue Winthrop Beach with funeral planned there. James Breen pawnbroker of 129 Summer street died aged 30 years eight months after four weeks illness. he had worked sections of the post office, Sanborn pawnbroker, and partnered with W. H. Hawes and belonged to local clubs.
