Brockton August 11 Munroe Rogers charged with an alleged assault or related crime remains detained after a court refused to grant any bail reduction. Prosecutors argue for continued custody while the investigation proceeds, while defense contends for lighter conditions.
The defendant’s attorney Morgan sought to lower bail from 3000 to 300 for a Durham North Carolina arson case. Marshal Leach opposed, citing a police dispatch requesting bail stay high. Judge Reed denied the request and continued the case to August 20.
Hanover August 11 final round of the International Chess Masters tourney began July 21 under the German Chess association.
