Announcement of the death of Rev Dr Henry Allen Hazen of Auburndale, longtime editor and secretary for the Congregational Sunday School and Publishing Society, and a prominent church worker. Born 1832 in Hartford Vermont, Hazen served many pastorates including Billerica Massachusetts, and held numerous trust positions and editorial roles before dying after a sudden illness near Hartford Vermont. He leaves wife Martha Bethea and two daughters Emily and Charlotte. funeral planned in Wilder Vermont Tuesday.
