Newport April 14 Reginald Vanderbilt youngest son of the late Cornelius Vanderbilt and Miss Cathleen G Neilson were wed at Arleigh villa in a white simple ceremony planned with family and close guests. The ceremony conducted by Rev Fr Wm B Meenan featured an all white decor and a restrained procession followed by a wedding breakfast and a lavish display of presents. The couple left for Sandy Point then Europe for a three month tour after a brief stay with friends.

Chase Returns From Paris Sanitarium Illness Era
Moses Fowler Chase, wealthy La Fayette, Indiana youth, arrived in New York aboard the Kronprinz Wilhelm from Cherbourg. A tug met the steamer at quarantine and escorted him to Jersey City, where friends waited before he continued westward by train. Chase had been in a sanitarium abroad for four years, found by Consul General Gowdy under an assumed name.
