The Massachusetts State Federation of Women's Clubs met at First Congregational Church in Lowell invited by Middlesex Women's Club to discuss The Practical Value of the Study of History. Leaders from Lowell Boston and nearby cities attended as Miss Helen A. Whit tier and Rev. Francis B. Hornbrooke spoke on local history and the value of historical study. Luncheon followed with tours of Memorial Hall the public library and the textile school.

Allen F. Davis, 70, is reported missing from his Chelmsford Center home since Monday. He is described as slim build with a gray mustache and chin whiskers. Authorities seek information on his whereabouts.

Bearers listed as James Rice, P J Meagher, William Barry, John J Graham, John H Donovan and Thomas Golden. T J Enright directed arrangements. Burial followed at the Catholic cemetery under Undertaker C H Molloy.
Moses Davis aged 92 died Monday noon at his home in Dunst able Massachusetts. Survived by two daughters Mrs H J Tolles of Dunst able and Mrs Richard Pendergast of Lowell, one son J A Davis of Dunst able, and grandson James A Tolles of this city. Georgianna Stone died April 12 at her home 80 Tilden street aged 53. She leaves husband Reuben Stone.
Two powerful shocks rattled Reading area as the Miller powder works at Sumneytown exploded early today. The blast destroyed all buildings at the site and released twenty thousand pounds of black powder, rocking the surrounding towns for miles.
