Peter Sullivan, 35, of Nashua New Hampshire, took laudanum in John J. Sullivan's barber shop in Lowell today at 10 30 am. Despite doctors efforts he could not recover, and he was moved to St. John's hospital. He said he attempted death due to family troubles after a troubled marriage with Matilda E. Hughes begun in 1902.

Reward Ordered for Detectives in Riz zilo Case Murders
Wilkes Barre, April 9. A court ordered a $1000 reward paid to Detectives James O'Brien and Thomas Heffernan for capturing the murderers of Howard McClure and Hugh Flanagan, killed fourteen years ago in the Red Nose Riz zilo case. McClure and Flanagan were robbed of 12500 dollars while delivering pay to railroad workers on the mountains near the city. Riz zilo, the outlaw leader, was hanged here and three others were imprisoned in Italy after fleeing.
