John Torsey died suddenly at his home in Watertown yesterday morning of apoplexy in Warner New Hampshire. He was a carpenter who recently moved from Lowell. The remains were brought to Lowell for interment with funeral services by Rev W A Bartlett and burial at Edson cemetery under J B Currier. Mrs Catherine Mooney widow of the late Smith EK Mooney and sister of Mrs Henry A Lord of this city died yesterday at her daughter's home 66 Grand Street aged 78. Funeral private. James McManomin of North Chelmsford died at his home this morning at 9 oclock after ten days illness of typhoid pneumonia. He leaves his wife one son and two daughters.
