Mrs. J. H. Bulman traveled to Chicago for the funeral of her son Lt. Morgan Bulman. He died in action May 16 after five months in Korea, served with Patton's Third Army in Europe, and was buried in Chicago beside his wife and two young children. He had 11 years in the Army with service in World War II and Korea. He is survived by his wife, two children, his parents Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bulman, and his brother Herman of Eunice.

Adelia Blakey, 81, Dies at Home in Hobbs
Adelia Frances Blakey 81 died Saturday at 605 East Alston Hobbs where she had lived 50 years. She previously lived in Denton Texas. The Bureau of Land Management opened bidding in Santa Fe for 79 federal land parcels in southeast New Mexico. An estimated 20 000 to 25 000 applicants sought leases on 40 885 acres with a lottery drawing set for 10 am Tuesday in Santa Fe city hall.
