Public notice from the Interior Department Roswell New Mexico dated April 23 1913 states William J Bruit of Pearl New Mexico filed for five and three year proofs to establish land claims in sections 5 and 8 township 25 east meridian. The hearing will occur before U S Commissioner Wm G Mac uur at Monument New Mexico on June 3 with witnesses Posey William Hechoon Alter Crockett Walter Attaway Tillotson all listed from Pearl New Mexico.
