Hobbs mayor Ed Laughlin has released from district court bonds for Homer C. Kelly charged with rape on three counts. Byron J Boyd Died Tuesday Funeral Services Held
Byron J. Boyd died March 15 after a long illness at Lea County Hospital. Funeral services were held March 16 at Smith-Yarbro Chapel with Rev. Hugh Harris and others officiating. He was born January 23, 1898 in Boyd, Texas and was a druggist in Lovington. He is survived by his wife Eva Reeves and several siblings. The service featured Christian songs and a burial in Lovington Cemetery.
