Lovington Telephone Co Vows Service Improvements
General Telephone Company of the Southwest president pled guilty to poor Lovington service and announced plans to install 500 new lines, raise long distance trunks to Hobbs, extend service to Eunice and Jal, adjust office hours, and add personnel. The Lovington office will close at 5 p.m. weekdays with Saturday hours 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. as part of the reform.
