Signals At Rail Crossings Introduced in Senate
The bill requiring automatic signals at rail crossings moves from the public and military affairs committee to the senate as a whole. Senator R. C. Morgan of Roosevelt County will present witnesses on February 1. The proposal mandates signals within 199 feet where freight cars on sidings approach highways, with a two year phase in for railroads.
