Dead Man Proves to Be Alive in Missouri Case
In Festus Missouri Russell Scaggs was buried with military honors last October. A living man named Russell Scaggs appeared after a tombstone order by his brother William. The deceased had died by his own hand in a Norfolk jail on October 11. FBI fingerprint records identified the body. The living man denies knowledge of any identity mix up and says he has worked on a railroad in Iowa.
